Requirements for use of our services
We are a companion service which means we keep people company.
We do not do cooking, housekeeping, administer medicines and so on. There are a variety of other services available for those needs. We are a “Let’s go have some fun” or for shut-ins, “let’s do something you would enjoy” type of service.
The only requirements to obtain our services is to contact the office and set up an appointment. We have been a companion to a variety of different people with a plethora of illnesses, blindness, deafness, alzheimers/dementia, paraplegic, quadriplegic, Down’s syndrome, and any medical condition you can think of.
We are also an escorted patient transfer service.
What that means, is if an individual needs to be escorted to and from a medical appointment, in other words cannot take a taxi, the public transit system or handi-dart due to restrictions (physical or otherwise) and require an escort to be with them for the duration of their appointment then we are the team to call.
We do transport 24/7 with advanced notice. Our team members are on the road as early as 4:30 am some days to get clients to the first ferry to get to Vancouver.
